Greg Baccarini
(guest director)

Josh Madden Productions welcomes Mr. Greg Baccarini as our guest director of "The Rocky Horror Show," for the 2026 season!

Greg Baccarini is an accomplished director and choreographer with over 30 years of experience in live theatre. He is especially thrilled to return to Josh Madden Productions for this revival of The Rocky Horror Show, where he originally created the role of Riff Riff in the company’s premiere production in 2023 and reprised the role in 2024. That experience makes this return particularly meaningful, bringing his history with the production full circle as both a performer and director.

Most recently, Greg served as the Resident Director of Yorktown Stage Company in Yorktown Heights, NY. During his tenure, he directed and choreographed numerous popular productions, including Footloose with Ed Staudenmayer, Seussical, The Sound of Music, Godspell, Oklahoma!, Grease, Into the Woods, Annie, and Fiddler on the Roof starring Craig Schulman. Some of his other notable directing and choreography credits include regional productions of Cats, The Who’s Tommy, Honk! with Erich Bergen and Adam Chanler-Berat, Curtains, and Parade. Monroe audiences have previously seen Greg’s direction and choreography on stage at Strauss Theatre Center in Curtains, Oklahoma!, Cats, Hairspray, All Shook Up, Fiddler on the Roof, and The Wedding Singer.

In 2008, Nyack High School's Drama Club, located in Nyack, NY, achieved international distinction under Greg’s guidance as co-director and choreographer. The program was one of only six institutions worldwide selected by Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Really Useful Group to produce an early regional adaptation of The Phantom of the Opera, solidifying its reputation as a premier theatre program.

Greg is also a past recipient of the prestigious Helen Hayes Theatre Award for Outstanding Choreography and is a proud member of the Stage Directors and Choreographers Society and Actors’ Equity Association. In addition to his work behind the table, he has enjoyed a successful performing career, appearing in regional theatre and Broadway national tours including Blood Brothers, 42nd Street, and Me and My Girl.
