Josh Madden Productions welcomes its newest addition to our theatrical stage performances, Mr. Taylor Michiels!

Taylor Michiels is a passionate supporter of the arts who is thrilled to be collaborating yet again with Josh Madden Productions.  A card-carrying member of the Little Orphan Annie Secret Circle, he is especially excited to be bringing the whimsy of A Christmas Story back to the stage for its second production.

A later-in-life theatre performer, Taylor has been actively involved with various shows with Josh Madden Productions, Strauss Theatre Center, Strauss Youth Academy for the Arts, Twin City Entertainment, and Glendora Players.  At STC, he has been recognized with Christopher Awards for his roles in Mamma Mia!, Company, Bright Star, & Grease.

Taylor feels fortunate to have had the opportunities to direct both adult and child performers over the years, and he is excited to bring the two sides together for this production.  His STC directing credits include Whose Wives Are They Anyway?, The Odd Couple (Female Version), Annie Get Your Gun, and Hello, Dolly!.  At SYAA, he's directed productions of A Christmas Carol, The Music Man, Jr., The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe, and The SpongeBob Musical.  Additionally, he's directed intensive productions of The Addams Family, Jr., Peter Pan, Jr., Big Fish, and Mean Girls, Jr..
