Jeremy Bostelmann (producer/technical director)
Jeremy started working with Josh Madden in 2007 as his drummer in The Josh Madden Band. He later brought his talents in audio, lighting, and video to Josh's tribute shows to Elton John, The Blues Brothers, Van Morrison, The Beatles, Bob Dylan, and more.
Josh and Jeremy spearheaded the Strauss production of "Million Dollar Quartet" at Kiroli Park in West Monroe in late 2020 and followed that with another Strauss production ("Always... Patsy Cline”) before kicking off the nonprofit Josh Madden Productions with "The Rocky Horror Show” in 2023. Together, they have done well over 500 shows, from private events and weddings to corporate events, fundraisers, and public concerts, working with numerous musicians and actors from all over the region -- they've even made a few short films together. Jeremy also works with Chris Kidd who is the technical director for Jack Howard Theatre and the Monroe Civic Center. Jeremy's career spans more than 30 years and includes everything from audio, lighting, and video to designing websites for clients (including this one).
Jeremy's most recent work includes technical director and audio engineer for West Monroe High School's performance of "Frozen," as well as Josh Madden Productions' 2023, '24, and '25 seasons with shows like "The Rocky Horror Show," "Talk Radio" (where he made is acting debut with the company as 'Spike' alongside the late John Reynolds), "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest," and "A Christmas Story." Jeremy has also done previous work with Ouachita Christian School as audio engineer for their productions of "Hook vs. Pan," "A 'Grinch'mas Carol," and "The Lion King." Jeremy worked with Christal Wheeler Productions as their audio engineer for their 2023 production of "Sour Grapes," and in 2022, Jeremy was the audio engineer for Pashen Sims' production of "The Color Purple."
Jeremy is married to his best friend and wife of more than 25 years, Lara. They both enjoy video games, movies, and dining out with friends. Lara is a pharmacy technician, but she is also involved in Jeremy's production company. You might see Lara working as our video graphics tech, as well as operating our lyrics screens during live musical tribute shows. Jeremy and Lara have no children of their own, but they have two cats that they love just the same, Abby and Olive.
